Protective Security

Safeness Australia is committed to supporting businesses, people and assets, by implementing Protective Security measures. This comprehensive process involves a strategic approach to safeguarding against various threats and risks, such as vandalism, theft, and even more severe incidents like unlawful entry and terrorism. Our services are designed to provide peace of mind and ensure the safety and security of our clients' interests.

  • What Is Protective Security

Protective Security is a process and a method intended to protect people, assets, and information from a wide range of threats or risks (ranging from vandalism or theft through to more serious incidents including terrorism). An effective Protective Security framework covers four areas.

    1. Security Governance

    2. Physical security

    3. Personnel security

    4. Information security

Implementing Protective Security involves undertaking a security risk assessment and creating a security plan and if necessary associated policies and procedures (governance) addressing requirements and controls for effective Physical, Personnel and Information security. The level of Security Governance needed will vary and be different and unique for every business or entity.

Protective Security Governance and controls should be regularly reviewed (annually or otherwise as required) to ensure effectiveness.

  • Why Do I Need Protective Security

All business owners and operators have a responsibility to protect their business.  Not only does it make sound financial sense there is also a duty of care to people involved with the business. Those people include staff, customers, contractors, or other visitors that may be on site at any given time.

Effective security to safeguard people, assets and information has never been more important.  Businesses and other entities that don’t have security plans in place are vulnerable to a wide range of threats and risks.

Implementing protective security measures can be complex and if done incorrectly can be time consuming, costly, and ineffective. Credible private security providers play a critical role in protecting businesses, people, and assets.

We offer the following services to businesses and companies of all sizes.

  • Security risk assessments (includes detailed report with recommendations)
